The Estonian Food Fair – Bon Appetit! was held for the first time from 5 to 6 May 2017 at the Estonian Song Festival Grounds and featured 500 exponents, 70,000 square meters of exhibition grounds and was visited by 100,000 guests during the two days.
This was an event aimed at professionals as well as the whole family, bringing together companies and organisations involved in food, opinion leaders, food-related activities and exchange of knowledge as well as cultural program, which all came together as a two-day food culture event unlike any other organised in Estonia before.
The Estonian Food Fair – Bon Appetit! takes place every year since May 2017 during the first weekend of May at the Estonian Song Festival Grounds, entry is free of charge for everyone.
For Organic Estonia it was the first major step in public with the aim of bringing together local organic producers, enhancers and consumers. The aim is also to give a strong push to the growth of Estonian organic products and create preconditions for bringing valorized products to export markets.
